About our program:
The Orange County Music Educators Association runs a 5 day (3 hours a day) Band,
Chorus, and String Ensemble experience for Elementary – High School students –
culminating with a free public concert. A Jazz Improvisation class is also available for
instrumentalists.

July 15 – 19, 2024
9:00am – 12:00pm Daily
Final Concert – July 19, 6:00pm

Registration Fee:
$160 If postmarked by July 5, 2024

Or

$170 “Late Registration” if postmarked after July 5, 2024

1. Print out and complete the registration form
2. Mail the completed registration form with a check payable to OCMEA to:

Note: Do not mail this registration form AFTER July 5. Instead either use
the below online registration form or email Mrs. Contzius for further instructions

Which ensemble will I be in?

Intermediate Band

Entering 5th – 7th grades (one year experience minimum)
Senior Band Entering 8th – 12th grades

Intermediate Strings

Entering 5th – 8th grades (one year experience minimum)
Senior Strings Entering 8th – 12th grades
Intermediate Chorus Entering 4th – 7th grades
Senior Chorus Entering 8th – 12th grades

Students may participate in on or two groups:
Students who choose two groups will split their time between them each day (e.g an
instrumental group and a chorus). The Improvisation Class is for instrumentalists only. This
class will run during the first four days only. Students will split their time between their music ensemble and the Improvisation class.
