Sullivan County Community Chorus, Monticello, NY
is seeking a Conductor/Music Director

In existence for over 30 years, the Sullivan County Community Chorus is seeking a talented, experienced musician committed to raising the musical and technical standards of the Chorus, as well as aiding in the recruitment of new singers.The chorus gives two Sunday concerts a year, one in winter and one in spring.  Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. and dress rehearsals are on the Saturday before each concert.  For the winter concert, rehearsals begin in September and for the spring concert, in February.

Our Mission Statement

To present public performances of masterworks of music for the enjoyment, entertainment and education of the community.

To provide opportunities for amateur singers to develop their musical skills and perform in public concert.

To create an amateur ensemble with musical standards as high as possible in a friendly and productive environment.

To contribute to and enhance the cultural life of the community and promote interest in music education and musical activities.
